Bishop LeRoi Radio Ministry Bio

Bishop LeRoi Lacey started his radio ministries in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at WAWA radio station in 1963, relocated in 1973 in San Diego, California. His ministry was with KPRO/KMJC radio and in 1984 relocated to the Inland Empire area of Riverside, California with KPRO 1570 AM Inspirational Radio. Bishop LeRoi was with KPRO for 32 years until the station management closed its doors. God gave Bishop LeRoi a vision to start an internet radio station in Anaheim, California and with much prayer, the vision materialized in 56 days from the day KPRO closed its doors on August 5, 2018. On September 27, 2018, K-HHG internet radio was birthed with Bishop LeRoi and Arie Howard as CEO’s. In the vision, God also gave him the theme for K-HHG 1570 Inspirational internet radio. The theme and scripture “Dedication with Gladness and Thanksgiving” from Nehemiah 12: 27-28 and Psalms 34: 3. Dedication services to give K-HHG international radio station back to God will be held on November 10, 2018 in the Orange Avenue Baptist Church in Anaheim, California where Paul Fietzek is the host Pastor. The four cities and stations total over 55 years of gospel radio programming for Bishop LeRoi.

Just to name few, he received awards from: 2002 Inland Empire Black Media Pioneer Award from IECAAC 2006 Agape True to Gospel Award in Arizona 2016 LifeTime Achievements Award from Texas Gospel Music of Excellence 2017 Riverside NAACP Medial Award 2016 became a member in full standing in the International Gospel Announcers Guild 2017 National Gospel Announcer of the year from TGMEA In June 2018, he received the Living Legend Hall of Fame as an honoree by The Rhythm of Gospel Music in Greenville, South Carolina.
